As long as we're admitting . . .
I learned long ago that having a system to correct last-minute errors was a
necessity.
Ultraedit is one of the tools in the toolbox. I also have a utility program in
written in Paradox (still working 20-odd years later!) that can re-do 128
labels
in ZPL, fix ASNs, fix POs that have "hot" items where the customer has done
something anti-social (and outside of specs), etc.
I guess my favorite <not> use is fixing a couple of thousand cartons for
customers who want both the 128 carton number AND a UPS Tracking number in the
MAN segment, and the packers don't match the labels properly when applying to
the cartons.
