How hard did you try? Was your management able to make any progress on this for you when you asked? Ok, let's just assume "enough" effort was expended, albeit fruitlessly. Then you are almost forced to use envelope control numbers or time stamps, my earlier recommendation nonwithstanding .. but what if your partner is also using , Trusted Link as HIS translator? Now you can't count on those either!!! I think you need to try harder to work with the partner to reach something agreeable.
