Hi Siva, IPv4 RFCs do not define source address selection but IPv6 RFCs do. Even if we add setup options for IPv6 source address in iSCSI, it is still up to IP6 driver to choose the best matched source address in current implementation. For example, if you set fec0::2001/64 as source address in iSCSI UI, while the target address is fed0::100/64; and there is another source address fed0::1234/64 set by ifconfig6 previously, iSCSI drive will still use fed0::1234/64 not the one you configured in iSCSI UI.
This is the historical background the UI configuration for IPv6/IPv6 is different in iSCSI.
