Hi experts, I am trying to identify legacy mode of UEFI BIOS between pure legacy BIOS on OS.
Simply say: Does it possible to identify this machine is running UEFI BIOS when user switch to legacy mode? My original idea is through some ACPI tables, e.g. UEFI, FPDT and BGRT, one of them show up then I think this machine has UEFI BIOS. But, I found there have some machines don't expose those tables when switched to legacy mode. It hard to distinguish legacy mode of UEFI and pure legacy BIOS. Does there have any standard method or reliable way to identify legacy mode? Appreciate for any idea! Thanks a lot!
