Hi Parmeshwr,

Liming Gao has helped identify the solution.
X64 is different from IA64 (IPF).
The value I was looking for was IPF, which is a generic term for all Itanium
based processor (IPF = Itanium Processor Family).

Any way thanks for the response. And yes, I do use the conf folder's target.txt
file.

Thanks
Viswanath

Hi Vishwanath,

I used Ubuntu. There is one file target.conf in that one variable with name
Target.
Set this variable to X64 will solve the problem.
Just check if similar things are available in WINDDK.

Param

Subject: [edk2] Compiling for IA64

Hi Everyone,

I would like to know how do we compile our EFI binaries for IA64 Target
Architecture.
I am using UDK 2010 / UDK 2014. I couldn't understand how do I specify the
target architecture for IA64.

Tool chain that I am using is WINDDK, and I can see some IA64 folders with
cross compilers.

Thanks
Viswanath
