Position Title:  Full-time Biostatistician I/II or Statistical Programmer
Analyst

Required / Preferred Education, Experience, Skills: Master's degree in
computer science, statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, mathematics, or
applied mathematics or bachelor's in the same plus equivalent work
experience.  Experience using SAS for sophisticated
statistical analyses as well as database management experience. Ability to
work well under pressure.  Willingness to clearly document work. 
 
Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for the organization, maintenance
and management of data used in a large international clinical trial of
nutrition and HIV infection among women in Tanzania. Individual works with
statistician, Project Director, and investigators to check, compile,
manage and document data. Responsible for planning the programming
strategy for the analysis of data in conjunction with investigators using
SAS and other statistical packages.  Responsible for the programming
needed for the data analysis and implementation of the statistical methods
required for the timely completion of this project. 

Position available immediately. Attractive salary and benefits. 
Possibility of short-term travel to the project site in Tanzania to assist
with data management and analyses, if mutually desirable.
