Wow! William Chambers is still around?? I mean, this guy has been pushing 
that Corresponding regressions stuff for *years* and he still hasn't 
gotten anyone to bite???

Bill! There's a clue here for you! Nobody is biting because there is 
nothing to it. What you observe and make great hay about in corresponding 
regressions is a natural consequence of the data sets and is 
uninterpretable and meaningless. But I posted that years ago... no need 
to go there again.

Not to say that Rubin can't be pompous, he often is. Be that as it may, 
he is also correct about the fundamental failure of substance in your 
corresponding regressions baloney.
