Hi all,

I am using Logistic Regression in SPSS and the following question came
to me:

I want approximately the same percentage of success (fail) in group
prediction for each of the two groups of the variable I want to predict.
To get this goal, is the best way to weight cases and force the data to
have the same number of cases in each group?
Actually my data is totally unbalanced, Group1 700 cases, Group2 13000
cases and the best group-prediction I get without weighting cases is:
Prediction=Group2. How this can change the prediction probability?

Where can I find documentation on this?

Thanks in advance
