----- Forwarded message from Paul W. Jeffries -----
What software would you recommend for writing documents that contain
mathematical symbols? Microsoft Word does not have all the symbols I
need.

If it is just a matter of symbols you can install a symbol font. Win3
had a little font viewer applet which would allow you to see the
symbols and paste them into a document. I use it with MS Works
because I inherited a lot of Works documents. I don't think 32 bit
Windows has such an application, but I have been told that the Win3
version works fine in 32 bit Windows.
