A correspondent has asked for my help
in finding an appropriate online course in intermediate statistics, ideally one
that includes instruction on use of SPSS. Using pages I have linked at http://core.ecu.edu/psyc/wuenschk/general.htm,
I have found descriptions of quite a few courses that use online materials to
supplement face-to-face instruction (including mine, via http://core.ecu.edu/psyc/wuenschk/pstat.htm),
but I have been unable to find a directory of courses that are available by
distance education. I have offered my basic grad stats course that way
only once, and I regret to say that only those students who lived nearby and
were able to attend the optional face-to-face meetings were able to survive the
course. I was not willing to water-down the course when offered
online.
If any of you all are aware of a
directory of distance education stats courses, please advise me.
Thanks.
