It wouldn't do you much good to get on Edstat. The stat dept at UNC is so concerned about "dialog" and messages being taken as "SPAM" and complaints from Edstat readers, that it has essentially dried up. Academic freedom is no more. There are no interesting threads anymore, they are all on sci.stat.edu and sci.stat.consult.
