How long, o lord, how long?

The first time I saw someone post this was back in April. I see it 
now every couple of days from someone who has apparently missed the 
zillions of other times it's been posted in many different 
newsgroups.

Nothing against this particular poster: it's just that this joke was 
funny the first time, but now it's tired and I wish it would die.
