I would recommend an MS in Statistics over an MS in Economics since
you're not interested in an academic career. A BS in Economics with
an MS in Statistics would give you many more real world options than
both a BS and MS in Economics. Statistics is a subject with broad
application throughout the social sciences and life sciences as well
as the business world, and this will be an enormous benefit should you
ever tire of economics.
