I explored data from several studies in the fileld of medicine. I found
that distributions of many variables (eg. blood level of some
substances) are right-skewed, often corresponding to log-normal
distribution.

Is skewness of variable distriubtion a hint in investigation of its
nature? Or maybe manner in which it depends on other variables?
