1. talk to your professors at your current university: who do they
know, what have they heard?
2. search out by school citation indices (they exist)

3. talk to previous graduates from the programmes: schools should be
prepared to give you names

I had also heard Western had a good department, and some place called
McMaster (in the eastern provinces?) was well recognised in health
care (heard this from a professor at York: the leading UK school in
health care economics).
