Are you using a high quality pseudo-random number generator?
Are you using different seeds to start the sequence? How many have you used?
Are you getting long sequences to test?  How long is your sequence?
Do you know which rng you are using? E.g., at least at one time, SPSS, 
SAS, and IMSL used 397204094 as the multiplier since it gave a long 
period before the sequence was repeated.
If you are using a package are you using a uniform option?
Are you doing some transform of the uniform random numbers, either 
directly or by specifying
