I haven't seen a response to your questions. Have you had any, and if
so were they useful?

I do not have an answer for your Question 1, but I suspect that others
on the edstat list can assist you. Although they too will probably want
a more focussed question: are you asking in the context of elementary
(or basic) statistics, or of linear models of one kind or another (or
several), or ... ?

I can address Question 2, but it might be more useful to you if you
could focus the question a little. Still, a general discourse might not
be a bad thing, especially if you haven't had any other response so far.
Let me know.

Question 3 I do not know how to interpret, although I suspect I might
have [an] answer[s] for you. First, what do you mean by Sai and Sbi?
Second, are you asking what "interaction" is (and are you asking in the
context of regression analysis or analysis of variance or both), or are
you asking why one would be interested in assessing interaction? Or had
you something else in mind?
