.
With the work of Bill Verity at Penn State and Terry Byron at NCState, the archives from the old (but good!) EDSTAT have been transferred to the new location at Penn State at:

http://lists.psu.edu/archives/edstat-l.html

We might tweak the way the listing is shown but the main thing is that the archives ARE now archived ... on the new list.

I hope this is good news to subscribers.

If I recall, Jackie turned off the gateway connection of the newsgroup postings on June 9 ... and the old EDSTAT will cease to exist on the NCSU servers on June 21. Anyone wanting to continue their "membership" in the EDSTAT-L list should follow the link above soon and sign up to the new list.

I want to personally give a hearty thanks to Jackie for all the hard work keeping the old list afloat ... and helping to prod us along to making it a valuable location for discussion of statistics in learning and teaching, and for keeping us on track on those rare occasions that we might have strayed too far from the list mission.

If there is anything I can do to facilitate this transition, please let me know at:

Thanks.
