Hello, We would like to create a new OpenSolaris project called "OpenSolaris Explorer" aimed at students and others wanting to explore and learn the ON sources. A short project description is below. My understanding is we need a sponsor from an existing OpenSolaris community to get started. Is this community interested in sponsoring us?
OpenSolaris Explorer project. The OpenSolaris Explorer project enables users to use the powerful NetBeans IDE with the ON sources by creating more than 1000 ready-to-use NetBeans projects. The OpenSolaris Explorer project is aimed at students and others wanting to learn and explorer the ON sources. The NetBeans projects enable a user to browse and navigate the ON sources with all the power of an IDE like hyperlink navigation, class browser, call graphs, etc. The projects also enables a user to seamlessly integrate third-party software like drivers with the ON sources.
