Hello,

My name is Edd and I am a BSc Hons Computing student from Bournemouth UK. I
have been a UNIX enthusiast for many years now. I am about to start an
internship as a with the University doing amongst other things administration
and programming on solaris systems.

I met many of the solaris developers in london last month and we discussed some
of the new features in solaris 10 / nevada, and I must admit I am very
impressed with the progress that is being made.

Anyway... I am here to ask if the campus ambassador role a full time job? I
would be very interested heighten the awareness and usage of Solaris at my
University. We do already have two SunRay fitted labs (with the grid engine
behind them), but many of the students that attend here do not use them for
reasons unknown.

Thanks for your help

PS:
Also I would be very interested in developing for opensolaris, but I need to do
lots more operating systems theory reading before that can happen (I now have a
copy of the solaris internals book, so thats a start). I have looked at some of
the "bite size" bugs, and I think I could make some contribution.
