Hi Gary ! Thank you for providing me with the presentation and datasheet.
I think for new users the presentation is a good short introduction to OpenSolaris and the main features it has. I will probably add a few more specific links, besides the generic www.opensolaris.org. Something like "to learn more about DTrace" or "for examples of using DTrace,..". I think these would be appropriate for student audiences. As for the datasheet, I think it's a very good idea to suggest DTrace as a tool to learn about OS internals.
