We have put together an OpenSolaris curriculum .Essentially this is a
pre-cursor to material developed by the Professors in China.

When we started working with the undergraduate students in India we
noticed that the students found it a little difficult to use the
material from China directly as they went into a lot more details.

We sensed that there was need for a lighter material, which acts as
precursor to the above mentioned material by covering the following:
* Using OpenSolaris for day-to-day activities
* Some simple administration on OpenSolaris
* Overview of Kernel Internals of OpenSolaris
* Unique features of OpenSolaris such as Dtrace, ZFS, and Zones

Hence, we compiled this material which consists of three major sections
spanning across three days:
* Day 1 ? JDS Usage and System Administration
* Day 2 ? Kernel Internals Overview
* Day 3 ? DTrace, ZFS, and Zones

Note: We recommend that DTrace be covered before going through Section 2
? Kernel Internals Overview.

A lot of this material is complied from various sources and very little
of it is rewrite. This material is ideal as a case study of OpenSolaris
for the Operating System course that the undergraduates take.

Once, you are done with this above material and want more indepth
knowledge about OpenSolaris we recommend the following material prepared
by The Professors in China
