Let's say I don't understand. And as much as people want to believe I relish being off topic, I don't believe I am. I am a confused student - let's say - trying to explain the nature of my confusion. Am I communicating the nature of my confusion in an incomprehensible way. Am I simply not paying attention. Do I not want to learn? Or is there some failure in the communication process for which we need to take joint responsibility?
