Hi Claude,

Kevin and I could send you a chapter after our work session this coming Sunday
(actually, we could send you a tar ball of the whole thing and you could pick
whatever you like).

We are in the process of editing the TuxLabs Cookbook, removing all content that would
not belong in the Edubuntu version. After that, we will begin building back up new
content specific to Edubuntu. What this means is that none of the chapters are
"production-ready", but we could suggest a few chapters that are likely to
change the least.

Hope that helps...

Hi Claude,

I see you had no response to this ....

Jeff Elkner and Kevin Cole are working on the cook book.

I suggest you approach them directly (CCed above)

Hi,

I would like to pursue reflexion about what was discussed during last
meeting.
I'm convinced that for now, writers of cookbook should continue with a
system that they can easily master, that is lore.

But I'd like to test the docbook transformation, hence .po generation to
be able to translate. Someone was ready to test a script for that.
Personnally I have some doubt about the result, as Docbook seems a lot
more semantically rich. But I'm ready to help for this, even if this
implies some manual tweaking.

May we test this for a chapter that is somewhat "production-ready" ?
Or do you think it's too soon ?

Claude
