Hello, I tested Tribe 5 today, so I will tell you about my first impressions: ------------------------- Bugs (?) The grub installer doesn?t dectect/include my win partition of my test-pc. So I had to edit the menu.lst in /boot/grub/.
After installing and the first booting the two network interface cards show no traffic. I had to deactivate and activate them to work. Client: The boot process ended in a busy box. The error message " Mounting /rofs on /root/rofs failed: Invalid argument" So I removed the folder /opt/ltsp/i386 and use ltsp-build-client. Perhaps there would be an easier way? --------------------------- Improvements Client: The change from one user to the next user (logout -> login) works fine now. The better support of local sound and usb sticks is laudable. --------------------------- Something I wait for ..... local apps .... I tried the kiosk mode (sudo ltsp-build-client --kiosk --base /opt/ltsp-kiosk/) but the building up process was ended by an error message Reiner Schmid ** -- edubuntu-devel mailing list edubuntu-devel@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/edubuntu-devel
