1) you should probably consider joining the Edubuntu Users mailing list and posting this question there if you already haven't https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/edubuntu-users 2) I think you'll get more folks to respond to specific questions e.g "how do I debug PXE-boot on such-and-such a NIC" rather than more general questions.
