FYI. I just installed Ubuntu RC 8.04 i386 as LTSP Server (ubuntu-8.04-rc-alternate-i386.iso) and tested it with HP T5135.
No need for lts.conf, everything just works... So now I just wait for 8.04.1 and then upgrade my school (2 servers and 113 HP T5135): http://wiki.ubuntu-fi.org/Ubuntu_6.06_LTSP42 (LTSP Mäntykangas). USB Sticks are OK. http://www.arkki.info/howto/Wiki/Hardy_RC_01.png Sound is OK. http://www.arkki.info/howto/Wiki/Hardy_RC_02.png TCM is OK. http://www.arkki.info/howto/Wiki/Hardy_RC_03.png http://www.arkki.info/howto/Wiki/Hardy_RC_04.png I do not say anything about Flash, just test it yourself, if it works for you...
