It's certainly possible. You probably have to diddle around with grub on one or both installs. Kubuntu will probably overwrite the existing grub install with its own. It might be necessary to then tell Kubuntu's grub about the Suse boot image, or it might figure it out on its own. It might be helpful to print off (or otherwise back up) a copy of /boot/grub/menu.1st from the suse install to help with this. Either way though, you should back up your important data. If something went wrong, you wouldn't want to lose stuff.
