I agree that a tablet is more practical than an IWB. Better value generally. Its just that compared to the laptop market the size of the IWB market is small. The bes hope would be an Open Source interactive application based on OOo that could be easily ported to Tablets, Mac, Windows PCs, Linux PCs etc. Snag is that its likely to have to be done outside the main development effort because its not on the radar as far as the developers are concerned. You could file an issue in issuezilla on the OpenOffice.org web site as a request for enhancement. > Just wondering > > Mare Chitko > Technology Assistant > Academy of the Holy Angels > 315 Hillside Avenue > Demarest, NJ 07627 > 201.768.7822 x255 > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > -----Original Message----- > From: Ian Lynch [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Wednesday, October 26, 2005 5:08 PM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [marketing-educ] Digital Ink + OOo2 > > On Wed, 2005-10-26 at 16:58 -0400, mare chitko wrote: > > I am in a similar position--but we don't have white boards, just tablets. > I > > also wonder if any "tablet type" software addon or whatever might be in > the > > pipeline.
