I think that the only way we will get free OOo space at BETT is by
partnering with someone else, unless there is a specific sponsor. This
year Chris and Barry were invited to represent INGOTs on the OpenForum
Europe stand. There are some possibilities of a general open source
stand but getting it paid for is the problem. It needs sponsors and then
it needs volunteers. BETT is good for profile raising and goes beyond
the UK with many overseas visitors. I plan to have more of a presence
for INGOTS there as we grow and can afford it but not much point in
raising a lot of leads to follow up before we have the resources. OOo
would benefit more simply from exposure of the name and raising its
profile.
