I like the idea of the usergroup but just as Shani explained understanding
what the cause of the usergroup will be and driving at that may get a lot
of people interested. It is useful to think through this step very well
before going out there with this strategic proposition.

I am on the team for the Wikipedia Library and what we did was to contact
all TWL global chapters, coordinators, affiliates and our proposed target
group (librarians). We could do same here by identifying similar groups and
partners who will buy into the idea and support us through the way. One
other thing worth mentioning is that the TWL team will not be directly
involved in the affairs of the usergroup but will be there to guide and
direct the cause of the group should the need arise.

Felix.
