Those Plone folk *are* a fast-moving bunch, but I've found them to be quite friendly, and quite tolerant of even the stupid questions I am capable of asking. (It's been a while for me, I should note) If you need a Plone answer, they __live__ on #plone chat. #plone on freenode is often quite busy. Christian Heimes (base.py) is known as "Tiran" on the chat server. Martin Aspeli (Rich document tutorial, Plone 3.0 BOOK!) is known as "optilude," IIRC. I'm guessing either of these guys could help you. It's likely others know the answer too. *Don't* do what I did. (Don't email them directly.) Your question isn't as stupid as you might think it is ;-) You aren't the only one curious, and they want questions and discussions archived and searchable on the chat log, bug tracker, and mailing lists.
