Hello Ege, I don't know the exact reasoning behind cutoff limits (except common practice in using A-F grades), these values are hardcoded in JavaScript view. <https://github.com/edx/edx-platform/blob/f5d2741c34552e20e444daa557e055dc5de8fd10/cms/static/js/views/settings/grading.js#L150> You may either support your own version with extended grading or talk to edX team about this limitation — our team never used more than two cutoffs actually.
