Hi Malek,

Thanks for the response. I got it sorted for the time being. Actually edx
app is using mysqld socket file and because of that even if we make changes
in the conf files, it doesn't work. So I tweaked it, creating a socket file
manually for mysql and port forwarding for mongodb. Now the webpage is
loading fine.

OperationalError: (2002, "Can't connect to local MySQL server through
socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)")

this is the error message which helped in to fix it. Hope this tip helps
someone.
