Hm... I ignored the command paver i18n_fastgenerate and I just put the localization files (.po and .mo) that I have compiled with poedit, inside the relevant folder. The n I configured LANGUAGE_CODE inside lms.env.json and/or the cms.env.json located in /edx/app/edxapp to use this new language and I rebooted the server. It worked.
The i18n_fastgenerate is just used to make the .mo files into .po ? (I have done this with external compilers, poedit) Or maybe I am missing something by not running this command?
