Hi there, The next release candidate of Ironwood is available: *open-release/ironwood.1rc2*. Ironwood is the next release of Open edX, and it's important that everyone test it.
To install it on an Ubuntu 16.04 system, see the Native installation instructions <https://openedx.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/OpenOPS/pages/146440579/Native+Open+edX+Ubuntu+16.04+64+bit+Installation>, and use OPENEDX_RELEASE=open-release/ironwood.1rc2 . These instructions have changed since Hawthorn, and even since the first release candidate of Ironwood, so please try them. This is a test of the instructions and the code! If you find a problem, or have a question, you can discuss it in the #ironwood-beta channel in Slack <https://open.edx.org/getting-help> or report it in JIRA <https://openedx.atlassian.net/secure/CreateIssueDetails!init.jspa?pid=11900&issuetype=1&summary=Ironwood+beta+problem:+DESCRIBE+ME+PLEASE>.
