You can run insights if you follow this <https://openedx.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/OpenOPS/pages/43385371/edX+Analytics+Installation> document carefully. However, I would also recommend you trying out Figures. Insights is built for a large scale Open edX setup and its not real time.
