Masafumi, Thanks a lot for providing this eeepc versions of osol-0906. It boots up nicely on my EeePC 900. I was also trying to install this 0906 on an SDHC card and on an external USB drive but both attempts failed. Has anyone been successful in installing 09-06 on an eeepc on another media than the internal SSD? I'm currently running osol-2008.11 from the SSD and would not like to wipe out this version on my SSD before installing and testing out 0906. Is it possible to repartition the SSD in some way and install 0906 on the same SSD while keeping the old boot environment?
When I tried installing osol-0906 on a 16 GB Transcend SDHC, the whole installation seemed to be written properly without errors but when I try booting from the SDHC it starts the proper grub from the SDHC and I can see the various 0906 boot options but it seems to fail over to the internal SSD disk and start my old 0811 boot. I suspect that this mean that the SDHC contents is corrupted in some way.
