Hi I just try to make LiveCD and LiveUSB for EeePC using distro_const. (including rwn driver and arn driver for Eees wifis and atge driver for Eees NIC), it works good on my Eee 901.
You can try OpenSolaris on your Eees and you can install OpenSolaris on your Eees through using it without adding wifi and wired drivers after the installation. http://kohju.justplayer.com/docs/mirror/OpenSolaris/eeepc-special/ You can see these files as follows: osol-0906-111-x86-for-EeePC-gzip9-x86.iso 12-Apr-2009 01:14 1.0G osol-0906-111-x86-for-EeePC-gzip9-x86.usb 12-Apr-2009 06:38 1.2G Note you must use it as your own risk,I have no responsible for your using it at all. And it is not supported RTL internal wifi driver for Eee 701-X for japanese Eee 701 model. And I would love to introduce again OpenSolaris LiveUSB Creator which chonan-san have released. I haven't tried it but if it works wrong using my LiveUSB image, please let me know. http://devzone.sites.pid0.org/OpenSolaris/opensolaris-liveusb-creator P.S thanks a lot for your help,chonan-san and taki-san! -masafumi On 2009/04/11, at 2:04, Hiroshi Chonan wrote: > Hello All! > > Nowadays, there are lot of OpenSolaris-flavored USB Images.
