Gilles-san I dont have Eee 900(but I have a plan to buy it),I have same issue with my Eee 701.sometimes my SDHC doesnt work well on my Eee 701.I sometimes get the grub CUI prompt when installing. so I sometimes format SDHC using windows tool and try to install then most of times I am succeed in installing:)
