Hello, I have an EeePC 900 running windows XP and I would like to use it also with opensolaris. So, I bought a 16G Transend SD-HC card and inserted it in the SD card reader of the EeePC. Windows XP sees it.
Then I tried to install open solaris from a usb CD-reader on this card. Everything went fine until I tried to reboot: I just got a black screen with all leds on . (the first boot device was set on the "removable device") I had to unplug the mains and remove the battery to be able to boot again. It did not boot on the SD card but booted XP or from the Cd if the latter is connected. Has anybody an idea on how to get this configuration working ? Thanks Marc
