if it doesn't work well on your Eee,beadm destroy latest your b121 BE to stop updating. -masafumi On 2009/09/01, at 1:46, Charles Alexander wrote: > Hello: > > I am wondering if the Std OS now has better support for my 1000H's > rt2860 wifi? > > I would kind of like to put something back on it I can do std > updates with. > > Thanks > > > Charlie > > On Mon, Aug 31, 2009 at 12:29 PM, Masafumi Ohta<masafumi.ohta at gmail.com > > wrote: >> >> On 2009/09/01, at 0:13, Masafumi Ohta wrote: >> >> Hi, >> My distro for Eee PCs updated (with compression=on and atime=off) >> LiveCD:osol-1002-121-x86-EeePC-WC.iso >> LiveUSB:osol-1002-121-x86-EeePC-WC.usb >> It takes 2.3GB but I haven't tried my Eee 701 and 900 because of >> they are >> now rented :( >> I tried my Eee 901 it worked good. >> if you try your Eee 701 or 900 and have some problems on it,please >> let me >> know. >> Note pkg command doesn't work within default connection times setting >> because of compression. >> (executing command might work slowly under the commpression) >> so you should add env PKG_CLIENT_TIMEOUT=300 to be able to connect >> repositories. >> >> Sorry it is something bug.. >> http://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/show_bug.cgi?id=10010 >> it is fixed latest this b121 so you don't have to add. >> Thanks information Calum-san:) >> -masafumi >> >> Regards, >> -masafumi >> >> >> >> _______________________________________________ >> eeepc-discuss mailing list >> eeepc-discuss at opensolaris.org >> http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/eeepc-discuss >> >> > > > > -- > cheers charlie
