I am running OpenSolaris preview 2010.02, based on build 122 from http://genunix.org/ on my 1000H. So far it works very good. The WiFi is a better now also (rt2860)
As far as I know the only thing that does not work is the Atheros AR81XX I may try Masafumi Ohta's ath0 driver - but it was a bit confusing for me when I tried it once. There may be others, as I never uise a webCAM (There is a driver installed for it so it may well work) and I do not use power saving functions. My next to do is read up on power management on OS -- cheers charlie
