Dear Moore Occupants,

Work continues to repair the damage from the flood in Moore that happened a few
weeks ago. Today, first-floor repairs will begin, blocking the corridor at
Moore 150. Those requiring access to Moore 151, 155, 156, 161, or 162 will need
to use the north west entrance. To access any other location on the first
floor, please use the southwest or the northeast entrances.

The third-floor corridor remains closed for drywall repairs. All third-floor
northwest occupants will need to continue to access labs by using the northwest
stairwell. Occupants requiring access to Moore 302 – 342 will need to use the
southwest or northeast stairwells, which are currently operating in both the up
and down directions for the duration of the damage repairs.

The second-floor corridor will reopen today, allowing occupants to travel the
entirety of the floor. Third floor occupants are welcome to use the second
floor to bypass the third-floor construction and to access labs/office outside
of the repair areas.

Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have questions or concerns. While I
know this is inconvenient, I do hope that the corridor repairs will be done
this week. I will provide updates as information is made available to me.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Sincerely,
Angie

Subject: Moore Flood Reparations
Dear Moore Occupants,

As many of you know, there was a flood in Moore, affecting the west wide of the
building, two weeks ago. As we continue the clean-up and work to replace
affected drywall to prevent mold growth, parts of the building will be
temporarily closed off to through traffic. A map is attached showing the areas
that are to be closed off.

At this time, alternate stairwells may need to be used to reach your
destination. Temporarily they can operate in both the up and down directions to
ensure that everyone can reach their offices or labs. Please continue to mask
and social distance as required by the institute.

Currently, the 2nd floor is contained and those needing to access Moore 254,
255 (and A, B, C, B), 258 (A), 262 (A/B) will need access this wing by using
the northwest stairwell from the first floor. This stairwell will temporarily
function in both UP and DOWN directions to ensure proper access. My apologies
for any inconvenience this causes. We are working with a professional flood
response company to ensure our building is properly taken care of and the
health of all building occupants is prioritized.

Next week, beginning on Monday, the third floor will undergo a similar
containment. Those needing to access 351 (A), 356, 362, and 361 will also need
to use the northwest stairwell in both the UP/DOWN directions to access this
wing.

Please reach out to me with any questions or concerns. I appreciate your
flexibility as we take care of these repairs.

I hope you are all well and enjoying your weekend.

Sincerely,
Angie
