Dear all, I am thrilled to let you know that our distinguished colleague and alum, Dr Charles Elachi, and his wife Valerie, have generously endowed a graduate fellowship to be shared by the EE Department and Planetary Sciences Option.
Our department has been always so proud of Charles because of his amazing leadership and his vision for a better world, and now we are even more grateful and proud with this generous gift. I am sure this graduate fellowship will enable groundbreaking research at Caltech, and will support new generations of visionary engineers and scientists in perpetuity.
