Cordially, P Faculty Position in Electrical Engineering California Institute of Technology The Division of Engineering and Applied Science of the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Electrical Engineering (EE). Caltech’s faculty represent the full range of disciplines in science, engineering, and the social sciences and are dedicated to addressing fundamental scientific and engineering questions and pressing societal challenges. We are seeking candidates in the broad area of intelligent information systems, including decision systems, systems for science, distributed information processing, sensory systems (such as speech and vision), signal processing, data science, control, robotics, artificial intelligence, and human-in-the-loop systems. Fundamental research, as well as applied research that links to activities in other parts of Caltech are welcome. Candidates who are motivated by societal challenges such as climate change, conservation of nature, sustainability, smart infrastructure, health and health care, space and exploration, science, and education are encouraged to apply.
