HI, The patch below is to start branch `morty` from current master. It only took me to revert one commit to switch back to the older version of wic and I was able to produce an image with poky-morty with it.
So, could you please create `morty` branch in your github repository from current `master` and apply this patch to it. I can alternatively send pull request via github.
