Just my two cents: Systems I saw booting with efibootguard so far are so
fast, that you even cannot read the output if you are not very
concentrated at the exact moment. So is it really necessary? On the
other hand additional information is always very helpful, wether a customer
understands it or not. If he does not understand it, he can ignore it.
Well personally I never was a fan of boot logos hiding hardware info nor of
blank BIOS screens...
