we soonly will post a newsletter which contain changes of the community
and the enterprise version, it's not yet that ready and the release is
also in final preparation state.
here are some items which change also in the community version:
About the GUI:
* checkboxes instead of multiselect selectboxes within network wizard
* actual selection will be marked with the respective colors within
network wizard
About VPN:
* openvpn allows real hub/spoke topology and automatically pushes
all known configured networks to each openvpn user
* openvpn does not set up local routing entries if they match the
green network, which in fact is a misconfiguration
* openvpn server displays ca certificate
* openvpn server gives the possibility to configure port and protocol
* openvpn server allows to configure multiple networks per user
* http ssl certificate will only be generated if the host or
domainname will be changed
New backup module:
Rewrite of backup service:
* each backup can be downloaded with a single click
* user can decide what to include: settings and database dumps
and/or log files
* each restore creates a backup before the restore
And more...
* logwatch displays more information
* merged in changes of R*EL
* factory default erases logfiles, databases and additional data files
* proxy automatically gets rid of ip address changes and
reconfigures network based access control
* bugfixes which you see resolved in bugs.endian.it
* proxy gives the possibility to bypass the transparent proxy for
defined source/destination ips/networks/mac addresses
