Hello out there!
Since Google has announced their sponsorship for this year's Summer of
Code we at Endian knew that this year we really had to participate. Our
product has grown and so has our company. This all happened somehow at
the expense of you - our great community - as we just didn't have enough
time to reply to all of your mails or fix every bug within a few days.
We think now the time has come to pay you something back. And what could
be better than something directly involving the whole community like
Google Summer of Code does? We think it is just a perfect opportunity
for us to let YOU decide and discuss what should be developed by the
accepted student(s) - BUT we need to make sure that our application will
be accepted by Google before.
We can only achieve this if you participate actively on this discussion
here on the efw-user mailing list. We have also set up a wiki-page on
our website where you can add your proposals! You can find it at:

Finally - IF our application will be accepted by Google - we will choose
as many students as we can to work on different projects that will all
be implemented into Endian Firewall Community after the projects have
successfully been finished.
